Title IX Celebrates 50 Years

Â鶹¾«Ñ¡is honoring and commemorating the 50th anniversary of Title IX legislation with a year-long celebration, highlighting the success and impact of women's athletics at Â鶹¾«Ñ¡.

It’s time to wear blue and gold as the Â鶹¾«Ñ¡ Golden Flashes family reunites for Homecoming 2022. Â鶹¾«Ñ¡will celebrate Homecoming with activities and events leading up to the Oct. 1 Homecoming Parade and Homecoming football game.

Â鶹¾«Ñ¡ alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff and the community are encouraged to save the date for one of the university’s long-standing traditions. Â鶹¾«Ñ¡will celebrate Homecoming 2021 on Saturday, Oct. 2.

On Saturday, Sept. 21, the Â鶹¾«Ñ¡ fight song blared down Main Street, the city of Kent was flooded with blue and gold, alumni and friends gathered and reminisced about their Â鶹¾«Ñ¡days, fans packed the stadium to cheer on their beloved Golden Flashes and the entire campus boomed with Â鶹¾«Ñ¡pride.
