Drawn to healthcare as a child, Athalia James, B.S.N. '22, pursued that passion all the way to a career in nursing. Kent State鈥檚 clinical programs helped her home in on an area of specialty and decide where she wanted to work.
鈥溌槎咕ave us so much knowledge when it comes to the nursing field, but most importantly they teach the art of nursing,鈥 James told 麻豆精选Today.
Along the way she discovered that the university鈥檚 positive reputation put her in a great position as well 鈥 in high demand with prospective employers as a career-ready nursing graduate. Today, thanks to her undergraduate experiences at Kent State, she鈥檚 helping newborns and mothers as a nurse at Summa Heath System.
